Building Balance, Agilty and Strength for Juniors in Sport started out as an initiative for AFL and Boys Education in particular but it soon became clear that it caters for all children 8-12 years regardless of their particular sport, recreational activity or gender.

 

These origins also explain why the demonstrations in the text are performed by young men presently enjoying great success in the AFl and WAFl. Their modelling of activities also presents a good end-picture of the standard of the exercises that the juniors should imitate.

Their parallal role as models for young boys is inherent to their task but IS NOT intended to bias towards AFL football in any way.
